AcouBatt LTD provides AI intelligence solutions that help battery manufacturers monitor and optimise battery-cell formation and quality assurance. We act as a data controller for the personal data we collect about website visitors, customers, suppliers, and job applicants, and as a data processor for production and acoustic data we handle on behalf of our customers.

a) Information you provide directly

• Name, job title, company name
• Business email address
• Details you choose to share when contacting us (for example, how you heard about us, or your message)
• Billing and payment details (for customers and suppliers)
• Account credentials (for platform users)
• CVs and professional background (for job applicants)

b) Information collected automatically

• IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers

We do not currently use non-essential tracking or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide a dedicated cookie notice before doing so.

c) Information processed for customers

• Acoustic signal data, manufacturing metrics, and production metadata
• Operator IDs or system log identifiers

This operational data belongs to our customers and is processed strictly according to contractual agreements. Where it includes personal data about a customer’s own personnel (for example, operator IDs), that individual’s employer is the data controller for that information, and any rights request regarding it should be directed to them in the first instance.

Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we ensure adequate protection through Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

• Recruitment data: up to 12 months after the hiring process ends
• Platform usage logs: up to 24 months for security and auditing

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
